DOF 40 “WEARS” A CLASSIC

The story comes from a word not Italian but Austrian, SPRITZ, which means to spray. It is said that the Austrians were unable to taste Friulian wines, which they found particularly intense. This is why they asked… “bitte spritz”, “please water…”

Thus, was born the SPRITZ, still white or red wine, naturally from Friuli, with the addition of sparkling water!

Today the Spritz is a must all over the world.

White spritz, 6 cl prosecco, finish with soda, lemon slice.

Spritz Aperol cl 6, prosecco cl 4, finish with soda, orange slice or for those who prefer to change the sweet taste, a green olive.

You can adapt the preparation by changing the part of Aperol, with any type of liqueur, bitter or distillate, including the garnish.
